Administrative Assistant
Watertown, MA
19-23/hr

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support across the company by managing projects, helping coordinate large conference events and covering reception
  • Help facilitate other events such as the upcoming Halloween party, food & clothing drives and other events throughout the year  
  • Coordinate meetings including booking and set-up of meeting space and presentation of materials
  • Draft, edit, format, and proofread documents, letters, and various correspondence for Administrative Manager
  • Compile data, analyze and format various reports using MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word & data entry
  • Cover reception desk for daily breaks and vacations 
  • Act as gatekeeper for VP (admin sits very close so will have to field personnel but does not support him directly)

 

Qualifications:

  • Must have strong communication skills (verbal and written; drafting professional emails/correspondences)  
  • Professional & respectful demeanor while interacting with all levels of the company
  • Take initiative & be productive  
  • Must have eye for detail
  • Must be friendly and team oriented
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel (also familiar with Word and Outlook)
  • Proficiency with Web conferencing and GoToMeeting a plus
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks
  • Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently
  • Must have excellent problem solving skills
  • Must be flexible and able to manage multiple tasks at once
  • Solid grammar and editing skills
