Responsibilities:

  • Develop an understanding of audit approach, methodology, and tools
  • Communicate and interface with team-members and management
  • Perform analytical reviews of audit documents
  • Identify, reconcile, and resolve issues with data sets and financial information
  • Prepare reports and memoranda supporting audit results
  • Special projects as needed
  • Exhibit a professional, business-like demeanor

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1+ years of business experience (background in accounting, finance, mathematics, or economics may be useful, but is not required)
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills
  • Advanced Excel knowledge (i.e. V-Look-Ups, Pivot Tables and "if" statements) strongly preferred
  • Ability to think critically and understand the impact of reports and information
  • Ability to organize and control large amounts of records and data
  • Prior knowledge of state unclaimed property report requirements
