Job Description

Hiring for a Bookkeeper for a company in Franklin, MA. M-F 8:00-5:00 hour lunch. $18-19/hr

Qualifications:

Minimum of Associates in Accounting

2-5 years of Bookkeeping/Accounting Clerk Experience

Comfortable in fast paced environment at times

Microsoft Excel experience

Strong computer and phone skills

Duties:

Creating and posting general ledger

Assisting with financial reports (month end, weekly, sales reports, cash reports)

Record cash receipts and payments

AR/AP

Reconciliations

Check runs

Updating supplier/vendor information

Really need someone that is:
Detail and project oriented, works well under pressure, multi tasker, proficient in Excel, cost analysis, intercompany balancing and journal entries.  Complete understanding of how A/R, A/P, the General Ledger and balance sheet all work.  Also understands the difference between balance sheet and income statement and the g/l accounts behind them. Experience with profit/loss statements
