Client Service Representative
Woburn, MA

Essential Duties:   

  • Develop an understanding of common medical conditions, illnesses and emergency situations. 
  • Apply knowledge of medical procedures to properly schedule incoming patients.
  • Ability to triage emergency calls and speak to clients experiencing extreme stress
  • Answer incoming calls from internal and external clients.
  • Speak in a professional manner, using appropriate grammar and pronunciation.
  • Actively listen to clients and ask appropriate questions.
  • Ability to empathize clients’ needs and emotions.
  • Able to distinguish which facility the caller dialed and provide driving directions
  • Accommodate the scheduling needs of clients while adhering to scheduling guidelines.
  • Collect accurate and appropriate client information.
  • Promptly contact appropriate staff following current protocols.
  • Utilizing reference manuals and standard operating procedure to properly complete all tasks and assignments.
  • Outbound calls include rescheduling appointments and appointment reminders for clients Process incoming faxes, emails, and online requests
  • Coordinating the transfer of medical records; faxing, mailing, emailing.
  • Acknowledge and escalate problems to the proper supervisor or members of management.
  • Meet or exceed performance standards for work quality and productivity.
  • Understand and apply the services offered and clearly communicate them to clients.
  • Ability to communicate Ethos’s financial policies.. and credit options
  • Flexibility and willingness to modify work schedule according to the needs of the business.  Must work a schedule that includes a Saturday or Sunday help cover up to 4 overnight shifts per year
  • Meet or exceed Ethos expectations for attendance and punctuality.


  • Must possess the ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
  • Must have the ability to work independently in the absence of direct supervision and carry out specific tasks 
  • Must be able to respond quickly to change and communicate with peers and manager
  • High School Diploma 
  • 2 or more years of Customer Service experience
  • Fundamental working knowledge of windows based programs including word processing, data entry, phone systems, pager systems, email systems, Adobe, and Internet.
