Customer Service Representative
Shirely, MA

  • Receive and handle daily incoming customer calls (call volume can vary, average during the busy season is 50-60 calls per day)
  • Enter customer at-once and booking orders received via phone, fax and email
  • Provide customers with recommendations on product based on customer needs; inventory requests;  due dates on when new product will be arriving to our warehouses; customer-specific discounts  
  • Work hand-in-hand with warehouse employees to ensure shipments go out in a timely manner
  • Troubleshoot with customers in the event of shipment errors, etc.
  • Process customer returns
  • Build relationship with customers to provide support and to properly fulfill orders to help build a loyal customer base
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Reliable team player
  • Professional phone and email skills
  • Ability to handle multiple deadlines and phone calls
  • Computer Application literacy
  • Accurate data entry skills, problem solving ability and the ability to work independently
  • Flexibility with taking on various office duties outside of normal job responsibilities, including anything needed to facilitate shipment of customer orders
