Job Description

Job Purpose:
Serves customers by maintaining system performance.

Duties:
* Maintains application systems by monitoring system performance at master console; identifying and resolving problems.

* Maintains hardware by identifying and resolving problems; coordinating resolution with vendors.

* Maintains network performance by verifying availability of networks; identifying and resolving problems; coordinating resolution with internal support staff and vendors.

* Prevents recurrence of performance problems by analyzing problem management records.

* Improves quality, productivity, and procedures by analyzing problems and changes; completing projects.

* Accomplishes staff work results by providing functional direction to junior operators; taking action in supervisor's absence.

* Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing publications.

* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
