Entry Level Staff Accountant
Boston, MA

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Manage client relationships and service client insurance needs
  • Apply funds received from insured’s to the appropriate accounts
  • Apply funds received from carriers for direct bill commission to operating account. 
  • Process finance agreements
  • Process check request for client refunds
  • Identifies and resolves any discrepancies before applying funds
  • Emails Reps regarding any discrepancies on the accounts receivable
  • Performs other duties as assigned


Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Experience with insurance accounting is a plus
  • Detail oriented  
  • Well versed in Excel and Word
  • Excellent communication skills; not afraid to ask questions
  • Able to take direction
  • Team player, self-motivated and dependable
  • Exceptional organization and time-management skills
  • Self-starter, professional and assertive
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced, challenging work environment
