Financial Systems Analyst
Lincoln, RI 


  • Support end users, maintain, and troubleshoot Finance Systems including, but not limited to, Lawson ERP and TM1/Planning Analytics
  • Work with end users to understand requirements, build and maintain reports based on their specifications and needs
  • Document procedures and write training documents
  • Work from high-level or detailed requirements, to design, develop, test and implement a variety of operational and analytical reports and dashboards
  • Create queries against tables used for data profiling, troubleshooting, and tactical ad-hoc reporting as needed
  • Research, identify, and analyze the requirements of program users
  • Monitor software performance on new and existing programs for the purposes of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging
  • Administer critical analysis of test results and deliver solutions to problem areas
  • Work with consultants for efficient implementation of new software products or systems and for resolution of issues
  • Provide guidance to Finance team members
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Bachelor Degree in Information Systems, Business Management, Finance, Accounting or related field
  • 2 years of experience working in Information Systems, Finance, or Accounting
  • Lawson, TM1/Planning Analytics, MHC/Document Express, Oracle
  • system implementation
  • Experience working in a fast-paced high demand environment

  • Outstanding analytical skills
  • proficient in Financial modeling and reporting
  • Project Management experience
  • understanding of databases, including SQL/Oracle, querying, data mining etc
  • Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and law
  • Must be self-driven and motivated
  • Strong teamwork ethic, positive proactive flexible attitude ability to take complete ownership of responsibilities
  • Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple projects/tasks of varying complexities, meet deadlines and work well under pressure
  • A methodical approach to tasks with strong documentation skill
  • Flexible and adaptable in regard to learning and understanding new technologies
  • Effective interpersonal skills and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to conduct research into software-related issues and products
  • Able to communicate effectively with non-technical staff and with members of interdisciplinary teams
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
