Insurance Verification Representative
Peabody, MA

Primary Duties:

  • Work reports by date of service, prioritizing tasks
  • Calling/verifying insurance
  • Obtaining verifications and prior authorizations
  • Obtains all pertinent insurance benefit information and/or pre-certification approval for patients scheduled to receive services
  • Records all benefit and certification information into the applicable computer system and communicates with scheduling in accordance to documented work processes.
  • Ensures every customer receives the highest level of customer service.


  • Couple years of medical experience . Medical terminology and procedures, insurance verification experience, EOB experience
  • No degree required, but a plus
  • Efficient and accurate on the computer- excel, word, outlook
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of medical insurance verification
