Medical Appeals Administrator

Responsibilities:

  • Review EOD to determine validity of the appeal
  • Submit information requests and obtain incomplete patient records
  • Maintain complex files and prepare documentation
  • Develop strong understanding of billing and denials/appeals process

Requirements:

  • Some experience working professionally/contact with medical insurance environment (billing, coding, practice support)
  • Understanding of Explanation of Benefits (EOB) documentation
  • Exceptional professional communication skills
  • Strong computer skills
