Patients Relations Representative

16-17/hr


Responsibilities:

  • Work with patients to explain the claims and appeals procedures.
  • Maintain/update patient communications database.
  • Provide exceptional customer service for patients.
  • Assist and educate regarding deductibles, plan info., etc.
  • Request additional documents as needed from patients to proceed with the claims and appeals process.
  • Follow up patient file correspondence.

Requirements:

  • Strong CSR, customer focused background in a professional setting.
  • Ability to de-escalate customer conflict and develop trust.
  • ***Experience in healthcare/medical insurance industry required***
  • Ability to identify customer needs and troubleshoot, as needed.
  • Proper phone etiquette.
  • Ability to speak and write clearly and accurately.
