Payroll & Benefits Administrator

Responsibilities:
  • Administer and record semi-monthly payroll via ADP platform
  • Process and record monthly Payroll
  • Maintains a knowledge base for rules and laws which govern the payroll administration function
  • Performs actions necessary to track and determine regular and overtime pay, and factors commissions and bonuses into an employee’s salary
  • Process garnishments, child support orders, tax levies
  • Assist the HR Manager with bonus and salary change processing
  • Calculate and record the monthly Vacation Accruals and track usage accordingly
  • Process employee changes in ADP system including, terminations, title, and salary changes
  • Assist with creating custom reports in ADP
  • Review and process employee gym reimbursement requests
  • Assist with Order Processing during high volume periods and as time allows
  • Benefit related reconciliations
    • Health, Dental, Vision, FSA, HSA, Commuter Benefits
    • Funding of Benefit Accounts
  • Record Health Insurance Claims and Premium Payments weekly
  • Coordinate with insurance vendors to resolve employee insurance issues Assist with 401k Audit
  • Assist with Open Enrollment

Education & Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree
  • 3-5-year experience in payroll/human resources administration
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP
  • Strong initiative, ability to anticipate issues proactively Ability to be discreet and handle confidential information appropriately
  • Team Player
  • Advanced computer skills to include, data entry, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Ability to multitask
