Personal Lines Customer Service Representative
Plainville, MA

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Assist new and existing clients with personal lines insurance products, providing the best combination of coverages and pricing to meet their needs
  • Coverages and preparing rating quotes and proposals to sell new accounts.
  • Solicit increases in coverage or rounding out accounts through sales to clients.
  • Educate clients about coverage needs, limitations and informs clients of policy changes.
  • Review current client coverages and recommends coverage and/or market changes to ensure high-quality protection at each renewal.
  • Re market renewals as needed.
  • Keeps informed regarding industry information, new product information, coverages and technology to continuously improve knowledge and stay current.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of computer system functions, procedures, coding and reporting capabilities for all carriers


  • Computer skills
  • Knowledge of agency management software and insurance rating software.
  • AMS 360 software not required, but a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
  • Multitasking in a fast-paced environment
  • Insurance license a plus but not required
  • Strong customer service focus.
  • Knowledge of insurance products and usage.
  • Must have Personal Lines Customer Service Experience (2 years)
