Quality Assurance Manager
Stoneham, MA


  • Manage and develop formal quality systems in compliance with ISO9001/AS9100 and customer requirements
  • Manage internal audit and corrective action programs
  • Communicate and work effectively with Operations, Engineering, Purchasing and Logistics Leaders and their organizations
  • Communicate and work effectively with Customers, Suppliers and Auditors
  • Develop/implement/champion policies, procedures and processes that improve product quality, reduce costs and improve productivity
  • In concert with Purchasing Dept maintain/develop supplier quality evaluation criteria, supplier audit and corrective action programs
  • Develop/implement data collection methods to support process improvements and track quality-related business metrics Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or Associates Degree with equivalent on the job experience
  • Seven (7) or more years of quality engineering/quality assurance experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Five (5) or more years of managerial experience
  • Aerospace industry experience
  • Customer service experience
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing across all organizational levels
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively solve problems and implement practical solutions in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word
