RESPONSIBILITIES

The Sales Operations Analyst will take a direct role in the compilation of data; development & maintenance of departmental reporting & dashboards; administration and support of analytics tool. This role is critically important as the candidate must produce and deliver standard sales reports on a routine basis to support Sales Channel, as well as the company’s overall operational initiatives.

Responsibilities include analysis, reporting, metrics, inter-company transactions, rebates, growth incentives, tracings, and where appropriate providing support to the commercial function and finance during the forecasting and budgeting process. This role will monitor forecast accuracy as required. Provides support on critical business systems which contribute to the success of the Commercial organization, i.e.: demand planning utility. Participates on projects relevant to job scope and attends commercial meetings or summits on an as need basis.

  • Produce and deliver standard sales reports on a routine basis, including monthly sales and variance reports
  • Manage monthly high-level reporting process to include compiling data from sales analytics tool and finance in order find insights
  • Manage intercompany sales order transactions and facilitate the intercompany forecast process
  • Process & maintain product rebate contracts
  • Maintain Price File Master for our sales analytics tool for all North and South American customer pricing including intercompany pricing
  • Maintain Intercompany pricing in U.S. and Canada demand planning tool
  • Supply various ad hoc reports upon request
  • Work with global sales and marketing managers to develop trending reports and market and sales data analysis using our current systems
  • Analyze daily exception reports from sales analytics
  • Create Forecast accuracy metrics and models using data and working with Sales management and Planning

REQUIREMENTS:

  • BS/BA degree in Business or equivalent business experience
  • 4 years of professional experience in Business Analytics, with a focus on sales, marketing, finance or business operations a plus
  • 4 years of experience in analytical reporting
  • Experience with data analysis and data manipulation including compiling information from various software programs
  • Demonstrated analytical skills, including ability to compile, analyze and interpret data in fast paced environment
  • Fluent in Excel including production of pivot tables and data manipulation techniques
  • Experience designing, developing and scripting reports& data models in MS Excel
  • Strong knowledge of, planning, sales analytics and customer service processes
  • Understanding of reporting and analytics, system integration and data governance
  • Experience using Business Intelligence tools
  • Good communication skills, able to multi-task, manage shifting priorities and problem solve
  • Self-starter with ability to take initiative, seek information, work independently, and deliver completed projects
  • Must be organized with strong analytical and financial skills, financial reporting experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems especially the sales order processing, purchasing and planning Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) modules
  • Must have ability to manage a variety of time sensitive tasks and work well under pressure
  • Must have the ability to establish priorities, meet deadlines and focus on customer satisfaction 
  • Must be a team player, work with many different functional areas and communicate effectively across sites
