Tech Service/Customer Service Coordinator
Norwood, MA
25/hr

Responsibilities:

  • Review and process customer orders entered into system to ensure accuracy
  • Dispatch on-site service requests to appropriate field service technician.
  • Issue RMAs, schedule shipment of loaners
  • Create and maintain schedule of On-site service calls, Installs, Preventive Maintenance
  • Present information, respond to questions to ensure customers understand guidelines.
  • Provide support to regional service centers around the world (Email/phone/in-person)
  • Create Service Cases in database, log service information, and close cases in timely fashion.
  • Document customer issues and create service case, resolving complains but can transfer over to someone with more experience
  • Work closely with factory engineering and other specialists to ensure service needs are met.
  • Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
  • Make sure instrument inventory is as accurate as possible in database

 

Requirements:

  •  Around 5 years in scheduling/dispatch/admin positions
    • In a technical environment would be a plus
  • Strong Communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Ability to schedule Field Service Events
  • Strong Problem Solving skills
    • Will be dealing with some inbound calls where they may need to resolve complaints from customers
  • Some inbound and outbound calls, but not many (around an hour a day)
