Job Description

Looking for a Supervisor for a busy Dining Hall in Providence, RI.

The ideal candidate will have a strong customer service orientation and will be able to handle high-stress environments. Must be able to work in a team atmosphere, communicate effectively, and prioritize/problem solve independently.  

Day to day activities include but are not limited to: Circulating throughout serving and dining areas and observe all aspects of service, product quality and availability, and appearance of space; address deficiencies immediately upon observation. Train, direct, and coach all staff within assigned areas. Assist with inventory control; assist with the control of food and labor cost.
  • Degree in Hotel, Restaurant & Institutional Management, Hospitality Management or related
  • Minimum of two years’ supervisory experience in a food service operation
  • Must have Valid RI ServSafe Certification
This is a temporary assignment but does have the potential to turn into a long-term/permanent position for the right individual.
